​FUJIFILM has launched the new GFX ETERNA 55, a camera that stands out for its large-format sensor and has been designed to bring back the depth, warmth, and tonal nuances traditionally reserved for analog cinema. This camera is characterized by its flexibility and durability, its versatility to adapt to different production environments, its unique look thanks to Fujifilm's image processing combined with the benefits of its large-format sensor, and its wide range of lens options, also thanks to the sensor's size and definition.

A product of this kind, created to meet the latest needs of film professionals, must be accompanied by equipment designed with the same philosophy. Blueshape batteries and chargers stand out from the rest due to their advanced technology and have been created to increase power output, service life, and battery life.

Inercia Tecnología Audiovisual S.L. has received the Award for Best Integration of Auditoriums and Theatres for the work carried out in the Sala Galileo Galilei, a project undertaken in collaboration with Syncronía Instalaciones S.L.

We were with Yamaha at the Systems Designers Conference in Vienna, learning about the latest advancements in immersive audio, AI applied to audio, and the technological solutions used in some of Europe's finest concert halls, such as London's Royal Opera House, Paris's Opéra Garnier, and Vienna's Musikverein. We were fortunate enough to enjoy a live performance by De Laurentis, a pioneer in the use of AI in music composition and production, who revealed the secrets of the technology she uses for her immersive electronic music show.

Inercia Tecnología Audiovisual has been awarded The tender for the acquisition and installation of cameras in the Teatro Real's main hall, which ran from August to September 2025. The Teatro Real opens its new season of opera, dance, and concerts with Otello, and the Inercia team has carried out the integration of this new equipment to kick off the season with full guarantees of quality and reliability.

The project, developed in conjunction with Sony, includes the supply of studio cameras, PTZ robotic cameras, technical video monitoring systems, and the network integration of the new cameras and control systems to facilitate their management from any point in the theater. Sony's HDC-3100 model has been supplied as studio cameras, providing a high level of creative flexibility. Capture superior images with the world's first 2/3" CMOS sensor featuring global shutter technology, which eliminates "tilt effect" and banding noise. This allows the HDC-3100 camera to capture flawless images with low noise levels and excellent sensitivity (F12 at 1080/59.94p or F13 at 1080/50p). In a theater where recording conditions are complex, and factors such as room darkness and capture distance must be taken into account, the use of cameras of this type is essential, as they offer very low noise levels and high-quality sensitivity (F12 at 1080/59.94p or F13 at 1080/50p). They are compatible with fiber optic transmission as standard, can output 3G-SDI signals up to 1080/59.94p, with the possibility of 4K via 12G-SDI interfaces.

On the other hand, the supply includes BRC-AM7 robotic cameras, also from Sony, which feature improved PTZ automatic framing with integrated AI and are comparable in quality to the studio model, allowing them to be used together. In environments like this, it is essential to have a flexible and versatile product that allows for stable and safe automation of movements. These cameras have been designed, for example, to film the position of the maestro and the artists moving around the stage. It is possible to create presets, register faces, and associate names, so that the camera automatically detects the selected person and follows their movements on stage.

The integration is completed with video monitors and signal selection systems for technical control, in addition to the Sony CNA2 camera control network adapter, which allows technical control of all cameras through the theater's data network, from the RCP-3500 control panels. The system adds the possibility of software camera control from any location through the Web-RCP license.

This way, the Teatro Real begins its new season with equipment that, in addition to increasing the quality of content capture, facilitates new forms of visual expression, thus improving the viewer experience.

SOLO CSV is the new contemporary art space dedicated to hosting artistic and creative projects promoted by SOLO, and Inercia Tecnología Audiovisual was the company responsible for carrying out the design, supply, integration, and implementation of the audiovisual installation for the entire space.

This project, initiated by entrepreneurs Ana Gervás and David Cantolla, seeks to allow not only for exhibitions but also for collaborations, artistic research initiatives, site-specific installations, and interdisciplinary artistic encounters. Designed by the prestigious architectural firm estudio Herreros, the architectural and functional concept of SOLO CSV was based from the outset on the versatility and dynamism of the space. Based on this premise, Inercia designed and then integrated, with the help of Brunelar, various audiovisual technologies, a conventional video and audio production system based on SDI signals, and video and audio over IP technologies, allowing for the distribution and reception of any signal from any point within the space. The aesthetics of the early 20th-century industrial building were adapted to convert what was originally the printing press for major newspapers into a contemporary art space and a venue for events at all levels. One of the main challenges of the project was concealing all the equipment and audiovisual installations to maintain the aesthetics and allow for the integration of audiovisual and corporeal works in multiple ways. Furthermore, the technical control of each area could be separated or combined to carry out these events.

​​Integration Design

​To enable the distribution of video and audio signals to any point in the space, while maintaining the highest video and audio quality, Inercia worked from the beginning of the project with the architectural firm and the construction company to define the conduit requirements for audiovisual cabling and the design of the different rooms for equipment housing and signal connection points. A centralized star structure was chosen in a rack/data center room connected to four other rooms through multiple tie-lines and network connections. From these five rack rooms, all signals are distributed to the space's connection boxes, including video, audio, data network, and fiber optic cabling, as well as all the speakers serving the different areas. This achieved maximum capillarity to provide audiovisual service at any point.

​To guarantee IP video and audio services throughout the space, Inercia has installed three data networks, structured in a star pattern as previously mentioned, with central switches connected to the rest via 10GbE fiber optics:

• A first network for IP video and audio, video via a Creston NVX network and audio via a Dante network.
• A second network, a Dante backup network, allows for continued operational audio performance and avoids relying solely on the main network.
• And a third network, designed for technical control of equipment. This network, in addition to the control system, is also used for KVM (keyboard, video, and mouse) communications. This network is based on ADDER XDIP devices, allowing for keyboard, mouse, and monitor control stations to be available anywhere in the space for any computer included in this network. The control network is complemented by the full coverage of a UniFi Wi-Fi network, exclusively for AV control purposes, which allows wireless access to technical devices from anywhere in the space.

​​From each of the rack rooms, as mentioned, all the cabling is also distributed to the space's more than 90 junction boxes, which, given the complexity of the architectural project, posed an integration challenge. To address this challenge, the company Pinanson was actively involved in the design of both functional and aesthetic solutions to overcome the integration difficulties. Due to the technical characteristics, in most cases, boxes with minimal depth were required, both in floors and on walls and ceilings, and with a need to fully adapt to the aesthetics of the project. Specific boxes were designed in conjunction with Pinanson for each case that met all the requirements, placing connectors on the sides of the boxes to minimize depth, customizing the paint or silkscreen on the fronts of the boxes, which open and close with magnets to avoid protrusions or anchors, and always maintaining the highest technical guarantees in the signal connections. This has allowed us to reach every corner of the space, with minimal visual impact, with 4K SDI video signals, analog or digital audio, and a 10GbE data network using Cat6A cabling and OM4 optical fiber.

​Technologies Used
​
One of the client's main requirements when designing the space was the ability to provide a musical atmosphere in the different areas, with the highest sound quality and visually integrating into the architectural design. The solution chosen for this purpose was Bose equipment, which includes several DSP processors, power amplifiers, and more than 120 speakers from the DesignMax range. The pendant models are the most commonly used in the space, and for which a completely customized anchoring system was designed, allowing them to be installed very close to the ceilings without leaving any cables or anchors visible. The sound system includes 37 independent zones, all with stereo audio, managed by two EX-1280 DSP processors, which receive audio signals from multiple music players, various audiovisual playback devices, presentation or videoconferencing computers, and audio signals from the production control room via the Dante network. These processors manage all the signals and distribute them to the PowerShare range of power amplifiers, which also receive audio from the Dante network, simplifying installation. These amplifiers allow the total power to be distributed variably among the different output channels, a key feature in a design of this size, allowing different numbers of speakers to be connected to the output channels without the need for complex calculations, as long as the total power of the amplifier is not exceeded.

​As previously mentioned, the bulk of the venue's video and audio signal management is handled via IP networks. Crestron NVX technology is used for video distribution, allowing video signals up to 4Kp60 4:4:4 via 1GbE networks, including embedded AES67 audio, and USB and KVM routing. The audio network is integrated with the Dante network, allowing audio from the NVX equipment to be routed to any audio device in the venue and vice versa, providing a high degree of versatility for system signal routing. Several SDI signal routing matrices are also available, which are interconnected to the IP video network via dedicated encoders and decoders, allowing the IP video network to be integrated with the event video production system described below.

​​​The space features a complete production control system that can handle events, recordings, or any audiovisual format you wish to produce anywhere in the space. The main systems include a Blackmagic ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K mixer, Panasonic AW-UE150 cameras, Blackmagic Hyperdeck recorders and players, and a VMIX software-based production system. The system also includes a Yamaha TF3 audio console with a Yamaha TiO1608 I/O signal cabinet and a Sennheiser EW-DX series digital microphone system, providing radio frequency coverage throughout the space. Auxiliary equipment is also available for audiovisual production outside the control system, such as a second Yamaha TF1 console with another TiO1608 cabinet, lighting systems, and audio, video, and IP signal converters, among others. To complete the full signal integration, the production's video mixer is also integrated into the Dante audio network via a MADI-Dante converter. This allows the audio content associated with all the mixer's video signals to be immediately available on any mixing or sound processing device, without the need for additional equipment such as audio embedders or de-embedders. The production control room also has several computer systems for streaming and a dedicated videoconference system to enable both external broadcasting of events and collaboration from remote locations.

​This complete integration capability allows space users to operate the space through multiple channels, as the project also contemplates the possibility of holding simpler events without production control by using custom-designed control interfaces based on a Crestron control system. To this end, complete user-customized programming has been implemented, both visually and functionally, allowing the operation of the space's audiovisual systems and is designed for use by non-technical personnel. First, there is background music control, allowing the selection of different sound sources for each zone, with individual volume controls for each zone and grouped if desired. Video signal routing over the IP network can also be easily controlled to define the content to be displayed on each screen or projection, and detailed video and audio control is available for each zone likely to host events in the space. Furthermore, the system allows for the storage and recall of space status presets, allowing for the immediate and easy loading of different usage scenarios.

​Inercia and MAXHUB are working together to develop smart communication and collaboration solutions to continue advancing toward a barrier-free connection.

Inercia Technology Audiovisual S.L., in coordination with Soundware Media, has carried out the comprehensive renovation of the El Corte Inglés sound studios. The objective of the project was to improve the performance of the spaces and integrate efficient equipment tailored to the client's specific needs.

This location is used to service all of the El Corte Inglés Group's advertising sound needs. This makes it essential to have the best sound and provide a completely immersive atmosphere and depth. To this end, Inercia worked as a coordinator between the various stakeholders involved in the project, with the goal of integrating Dolby Atmos 7.2.4 surround sound technology into the studios.

The spaces were equipped with three PMC 6-2 loudspeakers for the LCR, eight PCM 6 loudspeakers for the satellites, and two PMC 8-2 SUB units for the LFE. This configuration allows for an accurate representation of the three-dimensional sound field, optimizing the listening experience.

The Avid S4 model was selected as the control surface for both sound studios. This large-format surface for professional mixing is widely used in film, television, post-production, and music. In line with this project and the importance of equipment customization, this system can be adapted to the needs of the individual user. It is designed to easily control multiple DAWs simultaneously and streamline work thanks to its tactile, visual, and programmable design.

An Avid Pro Tools MTRX Studio audio interface was integrated into the mixing system, offering 16 line inputs and 18 outputs, 64 Dante channels and 64 DigiLink channels, complete native Pro Tools | HDX and HD integration, monitor routing and control via DADman Software, and EUCON integration, among others.

In addition to this equipment, various custom stands were designed and manufactured to properly integrate, adjust, and distribute the speakers, based on the acoustic parameters of the rooms. Both spaces were acoustically conditioned to ensure adequate response, and the necessary furniture was provided, adapted to the technical staff's workflow and ease of use. During the commissioning of the room, Soundware and Dolby worked hand in hand to certify the proper functioning of the immersive system. Inercia, for its part, acted as technical coordinator between the various project stakeholders for this seamless integration of the systems. All of this contributed to an excellent final result in which attention to detail met the client's expectations.

​Inercia Tecnología Audiovisual S.L. has renovated the iconic cultural space, the Sala Galileo Galilei. This venue first opened its doors in 1985, in the Chamberí neighborhood, to offer live music, comedy, and magic shows. Today, Inercia has worked with Syncronía Instalaciones S.L. to carry out a renovation to improve performance, update the equipment, and ensure versatility and simplicity when using the space.

The objective of the project was to select, design, and supply various sound, video, lighting, and stage elements, while always respecting the original essence of the Sala Galileo Galilei. It was essential to work along the same aesthetic lines that had characterized the space for 40 years.

The challenge was the short timeframe available to complete the renovation. In just four weeks, the project had to be supplied, implemented, and the property's staff trained to reopen its doors within the agreed timeframe.

For the development of the reform, the venue was equipped with various equipment to enhance the audience experience at all levels and ensure an efficient result.

In terms of sound, several Allen & Heath consoles were integrated. The main console, dedicated to PA sound, has 48 channels, 25 faders, 8 internal effects engines, and is expanded with a Dante expansion card. It can accommodate up to 12 stereo mixes for PA amplification, front fill, subwoofers, and front-of-house speakers, as well as for stage monitors or wireless in-ear systems for artist monitoring. This console is also capable of processing and mixing all microphone and line audio signals, to and from two stage boxes, other direct connections from stage boxes, and the remaining signals from the front-of-house booth. The room also has two additional, more compact consoles, integrated via Dante converters, also from Allen & Heath, for use when the space is used as a club, for music listening, or for shows. For microphones, Sennheiser, DPA, and Shure equipment was supplied for voice and instrument capture, including 10 wireless systems and six complete in-ear monitoring systems.

All sound systems were integrated via a Dante network and fiber optic interconnected switches. This network was complemented by a dedicated Wi-Fi network for technical control. All of this has contributed to improving the room's versatility, allowing users to adjust or run tests from tablets or smartphones, or for artists to control their own mixes using monitors or in-ears. It has also enabled audio routing through limiting systems to comply with municipal regulations. In turn, to analyze the sound level in real time and prevent the permitted dB threshold from being exceeded, Inercia supplied, integrated, and certified two Glove Systems limiters, as well as two dedicated subwoofer damping banks and a set of bumpers designed to isolate the new floor speakers. To achieve full coverage and improve the room's acoustic impact, the new power amps and 22 speakers from Maga Engineering have also been integrated with the rest of the sound system using Dante-to-analog audio converters. For the bidirectional conversion of these analog and Dante signals, Inercia selected Bluestream equipment.

As for lighting solutions, new control systems have been integrated, such as a Lightshark console and 16 Audibax moving heads, complementing the venue's existing fixtures. The console, with 10 faders for playbacks, 4 encoders, and a touchscreen for software control, allows for focused lighting, changes in tone, color, or shape, and programming the triggering of cues to the beat of the music's BPM or to a time preset by the user.

​Inercia has also integrated various video solutions. For the main stage backdrop, where a conventional black curtain had previously been used, a 6.5x2m LED screen has been integrated, multiplying the venue's utilization possibilities. This screen, from Euno, has a 2.6mm pixel pitch, a protective GOB coating against impacts, and a refresh rate of 7,680Hz to prevent flickering. Inercia has also installed a PTZ camera to capture the show's images and a Blackmagic Design switcher for video production and content mixing for the LED screen. A Brightsign player was chosen to manage this content, along with an OnSign TV license. Through these, users can display, publish, and schedule any desired signal or content in full screen or in multi-viewing, whether it be the venue's own advertising, camera feeds, or media files related to the event. In addition, Kramer HDBaseT extension systems were integrated for the transmission of 4K video signals between the front-of-house control room, the LED screen, and other auxiliary screens located throughout the space.

In addition to the aforementioned sound, video, and lighting solutions, the Sala Galileo Galilei required other specific stage needs that Inercia also addressed, such as the integration of motorized curtains for the hall's stage and the upper floor, ceiling rails, and all the necessary installation accessories.

Ultimately, Inercia, together with Syncronía, worked to improve the hall's performance and provide versatility and ease of use, while respecting the space's original design and spirit. In addition to the supply, design, and integration of equipment, Inercia trained the technical staff so that the owners could take full advantage of this equipment and ensure the space's operation was impeccable when it reopened to the public.

In this context, we are pleased to have been able to collaborate in improving the facilities of the television studio, a key space for the practical training of students in areas such as production, direction and audiovisual communication.

Audio-visual consulting and technical advice for an efficient lighting system
As part of this project, our intervention included not only the sale of specialized equipment, but also comprehensive audiovisual consulting and audiovisual technical advice.
The main challenge of this project was to create a lighting system that was agile and practical, ensuring that students could work without limitations and without the technological infrastructure interfering with the normal flow of classes and practical exercises. To do this, a system was developed that would allow simple and fast control, without compromising technical quality.

Integration of motorized lighting systems
The implemented solution consists of a lighting grid with a SI250 motorized cutting system, composed of five electrified rods, which can be controlled independently. This system integration system allows users to hang, remove or orient different types of lights, such as Fresnels, LED screens or cutouts, according to the needs of the set and the type of program to be produced.
In addition, the system includes a control panel that allows for precise adjustment of each of the five rods individually, making it much easier for students to set up their sets. We have also installed a DMX signal mixing and distribution system, which ensures a smooth connection between the lighting elements and the controls. This allows for efficient distribution of the lighting signal throughout the set and perfect synchronisation between the different connected devices.
One of the great advantages of this installation is that the control desk can be located on the set itself, allowing users to have a direct view of the lighting result in real time. It is also possible to connect the desk to the production control, which gives flexibility in terms of location and configuration of the space.

At Inercia Tecnología Audiovisual, we have designed, supplied, installed and configured an audiovisual system for the AGROQUIMES meeting room, a client who needed to optimize their resources to improve efficiency in their meetings and videoconferences.

The main objective of this project was to provide a versatile and easy-to-use work environment, where users could share information and collaborate remotely with minimal effort. To do this, we developed a comprehensive audiovisual engineering solution that would cover all the client's audiovisual needs, without complicating the user experience.

The Challenge: A Highly Usable Meeting Room
The Agroquimes meeting room required a solution that would allow both content presentations and videoconferences with an intuitive and uncomplicated interface. The challenge of this project was to combine high technology with simplicity of use, a key aspect so that any user, regardless of their technical knowledge, could make the most of the available tools.

To respond to this challenge, we opted for a solution based on the BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) concept, an approach that allows users to connect their own personal devices, such as laptops or tablets, to the room infrastructure without the need for specific software or complicated adapters. This flexibility is essential in increasingly dynamic work environments, where work teams use different platforms and devices.

Audiovisual Solution: Latest Generation Technology
The integration of systems in the Agroquimes meeting room included professional sound and professional video equipment, essential elements to ensure exceptional quality in all communications. Through the sale of equipment from the best brands in the sector, such as Yealink, we supplied high-fidelity sound equipment and video equipment capable of offering clear images, even in low-light conditions.

In terms of visualization, the room features an interactive touch screen that facilitates visual communication in video conferences and presentations. Thanks to its integration with video calling platforms such as Google Meet, Teams or Zoom, users can join any meeting without the need to worry about platform compatibility. In this way, two-way interactivity is encouraged, allowing participants to share information, make notes in real time and collaborate more efficiently.

In addition, the equipment configuration was carried out ensuring ease of use, meaning that users do not need to have advanced technical knowledge to operate the room. From the moment they enter the room, they can immediately connect their devices and start working.

At Inercia Tecnología Audiovisual, we have collaborated with Broad Service in the updating of the radio studios of the Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, located on the Vicálvaro and Fuenlabrada campuses. The objective of this project was to modernize the radio facilities to provide students with a learning experience that is at the forefront of production and broadcasting technologies.

Audiovisual consulting and technical advice for a comprehensive project
From the beginning, we assumed our role not only as providers of technological solutions, but also as consultants in audiovisual engineering and technical advice. The challenge was to ensure that each of the four radio studios was up to date with state-of-the-art equipment and systems, while keeping in mind ease of use for students and teachers. Additionally, interoperability between studios and synchronization of systems between the two campuses were key aspects of our systems integration strategy.

Advanced Systems Integration for a Unified Educational Experience
A key component of the project was the installation of the Capitol IP12 mixer along with AudioPlus multi-channel recording and broadcast software, both from AEQ, the benchmark brands in the field of professional technology for radio studios. The Capitol IP12 mixer is a key piece of equipment that allows for great flexibility in the management of audio signals. Not only can this console handle analog signals from traditional devices, but it is also compatible with Dante signals, a digital audio protocol that allows for easier and more effective integration of networked devices.
The AEQ AudioPlus system, which accompanies the mixer, allows users to efficiently record and output multi-channel audio. It also makes it easy to create custom presets, meaning that both students and teachers can configure the console to their individual needs. This level of customization is essential to foster hands-on learning and autonomy in handling professional sound equipment.

Audiovisual installations with a focus on interconnectivity
The challenge of this project was not only to update the equipment, but to create an efficient and connected work environment. To facilitate the interconnection between studios and the possibility of sharing content, we implemented a mass storage system with QNAP servers. In this way, any studio can access and work with shared audio, ensuring that students and teachers can collaborate seamlessly, no matter where they are located.
In addition, we made sure that time synchronization was perfect in all studios and studios, installing a clock system connected to an NTP server. This guarantees that all equipment, both on the Vicálvaro campus and in Fuenlabrada, is perfectly synchronized, a key detail to guarantee precision and quality in the students' productions.

Equipment sales and high-standard maintenance
As part of the project, we also took care of the sale of high-quality equipment, ensuring that students had access to the best sound equipment and video equipment for their practices. From microphones and mixing consoles to recording systems, the equipment provided is state-of-the-art and guarantees a top-notch educational experience. In addition, we provide maintenance services to ensure that the systems continue to operate at peak performance for many years to come.
The upgrade of the radio studios at the Rey Juan Carlos University is a clear example of how audiovisual engineering and systems integration can transform an educational environment, offering students and professionals the necessary tools to be prepared in the competitive world of audio and radio production.

At Inercia Tecnología Audiovisual S.L., we have carried out the technological renovation of Sonomedia Studio 1, one of the most prestigious audio post-production studios in Spain. In collaboration with Soundware, we have coordinated the installation of a new infrastructure to update all the equipment, thus improving the quality of the audiovisual services offered by Sonomedia in the advertising, television, film, radio and digital content sectors.

A comprehensive audiovisual engineering project
As part of our comprehensive audiovisual consultancy, we have addressed all the technical aspects of the project, from the planning and design of the audiovisual installations to the execution of the systems integration. To ensure that everything was aligned with Sonomedia's needs, we provided comprehensive audiovisual technical advice, advising on the most suitable equipment and systems for their workflow.
This project has not only involved a renewal of the equipment, but also the modernization of the wiring system of the control console and the voice-over booths. In addition, provision has been made to integrate equipment into the Dante environment, which will allow Sonomedia to work with the latest generation of digital audio networks, offering greater flexibility and control over productions.

High-end sound and video equipment for quality post-production
One of the pillars of this renovation has been the choice of the best sound equipment and video equipment to ensure an unrivaled post-production experience. For the LCR front speakers (left, center and right), the PMC 6-2 model has been chosen, renowned for its precision and quality in reproducing high-resolution sounds.
For the ceiling speakers, we have integrated the PMC ci30, ideal for creating an immersive and detailed sound in recording spaces. Finally, for the rest of the speakers, we have opted for the PMC Result 6 model, which offers exceptional performance in terms of clarity and frequency response capacity.

High-performance post-production equipment
We know that the quality of mixing and editing is key in audiovisual post-production, so we have continued to invest in top-quality work equipment. To do this, Sonomedia has renewed its mixing and editing system with Avid equipment, one of the highest standards in the audiovisual industry. In this case, we have installed the Pro Tools HDX system with an MTRX Studio interface, running on a latest-generation MAC Mini, which ensures superior performance and an uninterrupted editing experience.
In addition, to facilitate the operation of the sound and mixing technicians, we have integrated the Avid S1 control surface, a device that provides total control over the recording, editing and mixing sessions, allowing professionals to work more efficiently and accurately.

System integration and future vision
One of the highlights of this project has been the integration of systems, an essential part of our work at Inercia. The ability to integrate various systems and technologies into a cohesive infrastructure is essential to ensure that all the components of the studio work efficiently. In this case, we have managed to make the new professional sound and professional video equipment work harmoniously, with impeccable performance at all times.
In addition, we have left room for future expansions and improvements, such as the integration of broadcast equipment and other advanced audio and video systems. Thanks to the foresight of this update, Sonomedia will be able to continue adapting to technological changes in the sector and continue offering the best audiovisual services to its clients.
